Santa Fairchild

Once upon a time I made rag dolls, designing dozens of body shapes and varying the character to make a related family of dolls …..

and almost every body shape became a Santa.

This one has torn fabric hair and beard, carries a wreath which is simply a “pine” pipe cleaner bent into a circle.

He was made while we lived in Kadina, which means between 1996 and 2004 … close to the turn of the century I think.
